Privacy Policy

This page explains what information we collect when you use 3DShastra.studio, why we need it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

  • Account details: your email address and password. Passwords are stored only in a scrambled (hashed) form that we cannot read.
  • Order and delivery details: your name, mobile number, delivery address, the items you order and the designs you create for them.
  • Payment references: Razorpay gives us a payment reference and status. We never receive your card number, UPI PIN or banking password.
  • Security records: when you sign in or sign up we record the time and your IP address, to protect accounts from misuse.
  • Messages: anything you send us by email or WhatsApp.

Lithophane photos

When you make a lithophane, your photo is sent to our server only to build the 3D plate. We keep the finished 3D model needed to print your order, not the original photo.

How we use it

  • To create and secure your account, including emailing sign-up codes.
  • To make, deliver and support your orders, and email receipts and status updates.
  • To answer your questions and handle refunds.
  • To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't send marketing emails.

Who we share it with

Only with the services we need to run the studio: Razorpay (payments), our email provider (sending codes and order emails), our hosting provider (running the site), courier partners (your name, phone and address, to deliver your order), and Google Analytics (visitor statistics). We may also share information when required by law.

Cookies

We use a cookie to keep you signed in, and your browser remembers your light or dark theme choice. Google Analytics uses cookies to count visits and see which pages are used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; you'll need to sign in again if you do.

How long we keep it

We keep your account details while your account is open, and order records for as long as needed to support your order and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. Security records are kept for a limited time.

Keeping it safe

The site uses HTTPS encryption, passwords are hashed, and access to customer data is limited to the studio. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Your choices & rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw your consent, by emailing 3dshastra.studio@gmail.com from the address on your account. We may need to keep some order records where the law requires it. These rights are in addition to those under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law.

We may update this policy when our services change. The latest version is always on this page.
